Description
Tall, striking, and completely one of a kind, this handcrafted column vessel is formed in stoneware and transformed through the drama of raku firing. The surface tells the story of flame and smoke; deep copper tones shifting into iridescent greens, with richly textured areas that catch the light from every angle.
A bold diagonal band cuts through the form, grounding the piece with a raw, earthy contrast against the metallic glaze. Its clean cylindrical silhouette gives it a strong architectural presence, making it as much a sculptural object as a vessel.
